Hi Neighbors

My name is Yesenia Muneton.

I am a Teacher and a Parent. 

I am running for the Garden Grove City Council in District 5!

I've lived in Garden Grove for 31 years and am a proud graduate of the Garden Grove Unified School District. My husband and I are raising two toddlers here in our city instilling strong family values which I will use to guide my decision making when serving on the council. I am a credentialed teacher, having received my Masters in Teaching from Chapman University. I love this city and it would be an honor to have your support!

Yesenia's Priorities

Once elected into office, I plan to:

  • Improve our parks by making them safer and cleaner, ensuring families have a welcoming and secure place to play.

  • Support our local fire department (OCFA) and police (GGPD) to ensure our community receives quick and reliable response times in moments of need. 

  • Strengthen our local economy by supporting small businesses, allowing them to thrive and create more jobs.
